Robbie Drabek
Robbie is the lead designer and developer for Drabek Web Solutions. She began her career in Information Technology in 1980, with a degree in Computer Science. She completed her MBA in Information Systems in 1990. Over the years, she has specialized in systems analysis, data modeling and relational database design. In 1996, she created Drabek Consulting LLC and began providing information technology services as an independent consultant.
In 2002, she needed a web site for her dog training business. She created her first site using Microsoft FrontPage. While the tool was sufficient for the basics, she wanted to know more – to learn how web sites work behind the scenes – to get her hands dirty with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. In 2007, Robbie began studying on her own, and then completed the Web Design & Development certificate program at Western Washington University. She has continued to expand her knowledgebase and began using WordPress as a Content Management System, which is her current specialty.
Don Drabek
Don focuses on the business-side of Drabek Web Solutions, provides input during the design process, and “kicks the tires” on a new site before it goes live.
Don has worked in the the finance and accounting industry since 1980, most recently specializing in personal financial planning. He holds a BA in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration.
